Die Ruten für Jonas, Lukas und Jan.

Jonas Rute ist eine 8 ft Klasse 4, in mattem Blau. Insgesamt die „eleganteste“, da sie ohne Zierwicklung, ohne gefärbten Kork oder Edelholz daherkommt. Auch der Rubberkork für die Abschlusskappe ist in Sandfarbe gehalten um nicht groß aufzufallen. Ein Feeder-Inlay passte für mich perfekt dazu.

Lukas hat eine 7’6″  Klasse 3 in matt Oliv. Diese ist fast das Gegenteil zur Ersten. Mehrfarbiger Acryl Spacer im Rollenhalter, Zierbänder im Kork, in der Abschlusskappe und an den Ringwicklungen. Metallic Garn, keine Feedern, dafür ein Tiger-Wrap.

Jan’s Rute ist eine Klasse 5 in 9 ft. und matt schwarzem Finish. Der Aufbau war für mich schnell klar: Holz musste dabei sein, wenig Farbe, aber doch versteckte Details wie das Feeder Inlay. Eine Rute, wie sie mir passend erschien für einen Schweden Auswanderer und Hundeschlitten-Führer.

The Rods for Jonas, Lukas and Jan

Jona’s Rod is an 8ft long line 4 in matt dark blue. As this rod is builded quite clean, without any trimbands, coloured cork or fine wood, it is the most elegant of the three. Even the rubber cork for the small fighting but is coloured like the Portuguese cork to leave it clean. A feather inlay matches perfectly for me on this one.A rod as clean and straight as this movie maker.

Lukas has a 7,5 ft 3 weighted in matt oliv. It is the lightest of the three in line weight but more or less the opposite of the first when it comes to design. Multicoloured shiny reel seat spacer, green burl cork at the handle, multicoloured trim´s at the ring windings. Metallic thread and a tiger wrap instead of feathers. I hope Lukas can rock (!) the rivers with this rod.

Last but not least Jan´s 9footed Line 5 in matt black. As Jan is located now since many years in Sweden and working with sled dogs the concept for this rod was clear for me right from the very start. Natural and down to earth. I wanted to use a nice piece of fine wood, less colours, but small applications like the feather inlay.
